Installation & User Experience

Site Requirements
The SR859 needs a reinforced concrete slab of at least 8.4×2.5m with a load capacity exceeding 500kg/m². Access for a crane or low-loader is mandatory – the unit ships fully assembled. Allow 1.5m clearance on all sides for pump and filter access.

Electrical Installation
Three dedicated 220V/50Hz circuits are required (40A each). Each must have its own 30mA RCD. The control panels can be mounted remotely in a dry equipment room if desired. Use a licensed electrician familiar with multi-pump spa systems.

First Fill & Commissioning

Position the unit using a crane (dry weight approx. 1,100kg).
Level the ABS base and connect electrical feeds.
Fill all three zones slowly to prevent air locks.
Power on each VL801D panel sequentially and set zone temperatures.
Test swim current from low to high, checking for smooth acceleration.

Operational Best Practices

Clean the four coarse-thread filter cartridges weekly – the high bather load creates more debris.
Monitor pH daily; the 1.5HP air blower can raise pH if used excessively.
Use the electronic switches (V-209H) for quick current activation during workouts.
The champagne buckets are decorative; do not use them for hot beverages.

Winter & Extended Shutdown
If the SR859 will be unused for more than a month in freezing weather, drain all zones completely. The extensive plumbing network takes time to drain; use the bottom valves and compressed air to clear residual water. The optional insulation package is highly recommended for year-round operation.
