The right showroom hot tub assortment matches local customer profiles with clear product tiers, useful footprints, demonstrable features, and dependable supplier support. A hot tub dealer should balance compact, family, social, and premium models while considering access, wet-display requirements, margin, replenishment, service documents, and destination-market compliance.
Effective showroom selection is therefore not about displaying the largest possible number of spas. It is about building a clear product story for the target market while controlling inventory, floor-space, and demonstration costs.

Before choosing models, define who the spa retailer wants to serve. A suburban family replacing an older hot tub may value seating capacity, simple controls, and predictable operating cost. A design-focused homeowner may prioritize cabinet details, lighting, clean lines, and integrated technology. A hospitality project may place greater weight on service access, compliance documentation, guest experience, and lifecycle cost.
Create two or three customer profiles using evidence from recent inquiries and sales. Record typical household size, available installation space, preferred retail price, main motivation, common objections, and expected delivery time. These profiles become the filter for showroom selection.
A display product should answer a clear question: Which buyer is this for, and why would that buyer choose it?
A compact showroom needs visual variety without feeling crowded. A practical hot tub dealer assortment may include:
• A compact spa for couples, smaller patios, vacation properties, or entry-level buyers.
• A family-size spa with a mix of upright seating and lounge positions.
• A social spa with open seating for entertaining and group use.
• A premium feature model that demonstrates advanced controls, lighting, hydrotherapy, or design options.
Dimensions alone do not tell the full story. Consider access around the product, cabinet-panel removal, safe customer movement, step placement, sight lines, lighting, and whether the spa can be displayed wet. A dry display explains appearance and construction; a functioning wet display creates a stronger sensory experience but requires drainage, ventilation, water care, and daily presentation standards.

Customers need understandable reasons to move from one price tier to another. If every product looks similar and the differences are hidden in a specification sheet, the showroom becomes difficult to sell.
For each tier, define three to five visible or demonstrable benefits. These might include seating ergonomics, jet configuration, control platform, acrylic finish, frame structure, insulation package, lighting, filtration, cabinet design, or customization. Train the sales team to connect each feature to a buyer outcome rather than reciting technical details.
For example, a higher-capacity pump is not automatically a better sales story. The useful question is how the complete hydraulic design distributes water through the selected jets and seating positions. Likewise, premium acrylic or frame construction matters because it supports appearance, durability, and long-term ownership—not because a component name sounds impressive.
The price architecture should also protect gross margin. Include freight, installation support, commissioning, accessories, warranty administration, floor-model cost, and likely discounting when setting the target retail position.
One challenge for any spa retailer is competing against identical products advertised by multiple sellers. Dealer-exclusive or restricted-distribution models can reduce direct comparison and give the showroom a more defensible local proposition.
Exclusivity works best when it is supported by real differentiation. That may include a unique model, a defined feature package, territory rules, branded materials, cabinet and shell combinations, or a market-specific assortment. The agreement should clearly state geography, channels, performance expectations, online sales rules, and what happens if either party does not meet its commitments.
SUNRANS uses product development and OEM/ODM capabilities to support differentiated dealer programs. Selected PSP Expo display spas are dealer-focused limited-distribution models, giving prospective partners an opportunity to discuss how exclusivity could work in their market. Technical specifications for exhibition models should be confirmed through the approved product sheets before publication or ordering.
Showroom selection is also supplier selection. A visually strong model can still create problems if replenishment is unpredictable or service information is incomplete. Before committing floor space, ask the manufacturer about:
1. Production and replenishment lead times.
2. Model-specific certifications for your destination market.
3. Spare-parts identification and recommended dealer stock.
4. Installation, operation, and troubleshooting documents.
5. Warranty process and evidence requirements.
6. Packaging, unloading, and delivery access.
7. Display-sample and mixed-order policies.
SUNRANS supports dealers with two principal production bases, 100+ patents, annual production capacity of up to 130,000 units, 100% inspection, and a 48-hour complete-unit testing process. Depending on the model, configurations may include Aristech acrylic, Balboa controls, and 304 stainless-steel frames. Always request the specification and compliance documents for the exact model being considered.

The best showroom is edited, not crowded. Choose products around local buyer profiles, create clear price steps, use layouts that demonstrate different use cases, and confirm that the supplier can support service after the display is sold.
